Slight bump to upper right corner of jacket. Includes film print in white cardstock casing. (15cm. x 12cm.) Near Fine. Written as a diary, "Cecil Beaton's Fair Lady" is the author's personal history as costume designer for the movie musical, "My Fair Lady" (1964). By the mid-1960s, Beaton was already a legend for his abilities as a photographer, writer and designer. One of the original "Bright Young Things", Beaton first rose to prominence as a fashion and portrait photographer. England's entry into the Second World War, temporarily changed Beaton into a war photographer where he took some of the most famous photographs of the London Blitz. After the war, Beaton pivoted again and turned his attentions to fashion and theater eventually winning an Academy Award for his costume designs for "My Fair Lady". Includes a print frame from the original camera negative created for the movie's 30th anniversary.
