The entire front page is taken up with a very detailed and very clear description of what each side is doing when one side is laying seige to another; "Explanation of Siege Operations" which serves to prepare to reader for reporting on the current war in Crimea where the Russians are laying siege to the English and the French (if it's not the other way around). The paper, a broadsheet, has been folded twice with area's along the folds suffering, though never such that the text can't be parsed.
