(TRADE CARD) HENSHALL, W. W. HENSHALL, STATUARY AND MASON, TO THE ADMIRALTY. (London: circa 1810-1820). Illustrated engraved trade card (3 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches). Rare engraved London trade card for W. Henshall stone mason and sculptor who resided at No. 58 & 59, Mortimer St., Cavendish Square, London. He died on November 27, 1820 and his obituary published in the Gentleman's Magazine that year (Volume 90, page 571) says he was "many years statuary and mason to the Admiralty." Stiff card is fully illustrated with naval motif, cherubs chisel Henshall's sign, etc. Very good. 397191.
