This play was performed on Broadway in New York in 1945, starred Wendell Corey and a young unknown actor by the name of Kirk Douglas. Moving dramatization of how a family reacts to the death of their pilot son in World War II. Nelson later became a movie director, directed Lilies of the Field. Paperback in good/very good condition; some light chipping on edges, back surface. No interior markings or flaws.

With additional full-color illustrations by John Cosgrave and "An Appreciation" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Signed by Exupery on pre-title page. Evidently original owner had Exupery sign a trade edition and then bound it in leather and had all edges gilded. Very good condition.
