OUP, 3rd impression, 1950.. Hardcover. Good. vii,100, pages. 19 x 13 cm. With a copy of a typed letter to Christopher Fry from Australian writer and critic Colin M Rose enclosing a copy of a type of poem he composed called a Laconic written about Fry's work. Taped into the book is Fry's typed reply thanking Rose for his letter and signed Christopher Fry. Fry had had a previous Laconic published in The New York Saturday Review. Original cloth, with the remains of the worn dust wrapper. Browning of the paper where the sellotape has been used to stick in Fry's letter.
