Anthony Lehman's chance visit to the poet - transcends it's limits by staying within itself. With no point to make, the details of the visit, small but telling, become a poignant coda to Everson's amazing life and career. We can thank the Author also for importuning Everson to contribute an introduction, which is as charming and insightful a bit of prose about solitude as we've run across.
