AUTOGRAPHED by author John Friedmann and inscribed by him to the volume's former owner, date & place of autograph 1959, Seoul, Korea. The book is sturdy and well-bound, with no dust jacket (as issued?). The bookcover is a brightly colored decorated pastedown over yellow cloth. Cover (with white background) is shelf-rubbed and lightly soiled, with a couple of small spots of staining about corn-kernel-sized. The book is unmarked except for the autograph on the first free endpage. Abstract illustrations by Carvalho accompany the poems in English and in German by Friedmann.
