Beautiful copy of this classic, with 12 full page color plates by Arthur Rackham. This is #155 of 200 copies in the American edition, and is SIGNED by Rackham under the limitation statement on verso of half title. Jonathan Boucher was staunch Loyalist yet a friend of George Washington's, and his is an important perspective on the American Revolution. <br /> <br /> Boucher came to America from England in 1759, as a private tutor for families of Virginia planters.
