Dundee and London, Valentine & Sons Ltd., (1935).. Circa 1935, about 100 wooden pieces, finished size 238 x 210 mm, 9¼ x 8¼ inches, showing a Baby with a Teddy in a nest in a tree, lots of Boo-Boos, some sitting on the branch singing a lullaby, 1 in specs knitting a baby sock. Fine in near Fine original box, 270 x 236 mm, 10½ x 9½ inches, red tartan sides, full size repeat image pasted to lid with Valentine's gilt, red and blue label pasted at 1 corner. Box just slightly rubbed at corners, original seal still present. This image does not appear among the Valentine's postcards shown in Henty, but it is shown in Henty, page 89 on a puzzle manufactured by Victory circa 1950. Oblong format approximately 340 x 245 mm, 13 x 9½ inches, bound in old marbled paper, ink title on label to upper cover. Marbled paper covers worn with tips of corners missing, vertical tear to outer margin of title page, repaired on blank side, not touching image, margins of plates dusty with some small brown spots, small turning creases to all corners, good copy.
