Interior pages mostly clean with some spots and a light water stain at the top near the hinges. Missing frontispiece. Front hinge loosening but still holding firmly.

Hardcover condition: Good. Second edition (first 1880). Blue cloth color on front cover is faded with some color loss. Wrinkling to the rear cover at the bottom left. Foxing to rear end papers.
