A playlet in one act, circa 1917, written for the RI State Food Conservation Committee with the purpose of "increasing the interest in Food Conservation and to emphasize the possible use of substitutes for the four food classes of food: wheat, meat, sugar and butter." Characters include Uncle Sam, Miss Rhode Island, Camp Fire Girls, and White Bread, Butter, & Sugar. [14 pp.] 5.5" x 8" in stapled wraps. VG overall (toning, closed tear at top edge, 2" tear at lower staple, penciled annotations assigning roles to cast of characters). Uncommon WWI-era play written by a woman, with no holdings in commerce and one per OCLC (Brown).
