John Dos Passo's famous USA trilogy, containing the novels The 42nd Parallel, 1919 and The Big Money. This set would have originally come in a slipcover, which probably accounts for the very light wear to this trio of books. Wear is slight, the pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with the previous owner's ex libris stickers inside the front cover of each. This set will ship at about six pounds, therefore is not available for international shipping without a substantial increase in S&H. The only illustration is the frontispiece. A good-natured, humorous story of Uncle William who tends to see the good in everyone and every circumstance. Not rare, but nearly so.

Lou Boldt and Daphne Matthews team up to stop a serial killer in Seattle. Book shows no significant wear, the dust jacket has many chips, wrinkles and tears around the edges and the remains of a price sticker on the spine. Pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Endpapers have a map of the Seattle area. This is the very first of nine Boldt/Matthews mysteries, published between 1988 and 2004. (Boldt appeared in a tenth novel with one of Pearson's other detectives, Walt Fleming.)

Many famous detective and crime novelists had their early works featured in DBC editions. A stolen truck, lost files, exposed secrets, the ex and the boyfriend, and, of course, murder most foul. The eighth of thirteen in the series by the sisters O'Shaughnessy. Book has the usual kinds of shelf wear, and spine creases, but nothing terrible. A solid, readable copy.
