There is an additional card from Edna Turpin laid in: "I hope you will enjoy this little book the more because it has a picture of Margaret Montague which I took at her home last spring to which she has added her autograph". Pasted in is the signed photograph. As well there is laid in a card from James Southall Wilson to his daughter giving her the book. A very good copy in a dustjacket which separated at the spine fold; there is some loss to the spine. Some old tape residue to the pastedown. The dustjacket has not been price-clipped and is now protected with a new mylar cover. Very Good binding / Fair dust jacket.

John Lane the Bodley Head Ltd, 1925. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good binding. As is the case with almost all copies of this book, the binding type was ill-conceived and plates come loose. This copy has been quite discreetly repaired from the back of the textblock, and the plates are quite secure and the book is easy to handle. In the publisher's cream cloth with decoration and titling in blue. Small tideline at the bottom corner of the engraved frontispiece, not affecting the engraving. Light crease to the endpaper. Front hinge quietly repaired with japanese tissue; cloth lifting a bit from the boards. A most serviceable copy. Very Good binding.

Published in 1967, though additional contents are pasted in, updating the charts through 1972. Dampstaining to the corners of the boards and leaves. Rippling to the binding and textblock. A rough copy, stained, with small abrasions to the boards and bottom of a few leaves. Taped along the spine of the boards and at the hinges, holding the stapled leaves of the textblock, which may originally have been an accordion fold. Overall in Fair condition. Though uncommon, with only three institutional holdings noted on OCLC. Fair binding.
