He took over the store, telling us amusing and interesting Arctic stories in his French Parisian accent. He talked about his Arctic collection, we bought him a sandwich and a coffee, he occupied my office space when he wasn't pacing the main isle of the store, stopping to address customers. He had energy and charisma and left abruptly with a parting shot to me "what is wrong with that librarian, do I think...? I will try again
