New York: Viking Press, 1962, First Edition. Hardcover. Personal letter to my mother signed and dated by the author accompanies the book. This is a lighthearted and personal note highlighting the author's humorous touch. The dustjacket has 1 inch tears on the front spine area, top and bottom, as well as a 1" triangular defect on the right front corner. The dustjacket shows some wear along the edges and slight discoloration. It is signed by my mother. The binding has mild discoloration of the spine, top and bottom, but otherwise near fine condition, tight, with no leaning. Pages are clean, no writing, marks or bookplates,
