Delightful narrative on friendship illustrated with photographs of the greats of literature in 1929. The blue cloth cover boards and yellow end papers are clean and bright with slight bumping on the spine ends. The text block is rough cut and shows very mild foxing. Binding is secure and the dust jacket is protected with a Brodart cover. The dust jacket is foxed and missing some pieces on the spine end. The dust jacket is not clipped & this is not the book club edition. pp255
