William Jay Smith (1918 - 2015) was United States Poet Laureate from 1968 to 1970. Two of his poetry collections were finalists for the National Book Award.

Originally published pseudonymously in 1871, this "new edition" was issued shortly after the author's death at age 50 As noted in her obituary, "what Mr Hardy is to the West Country, Mary Linskill might have been to the North Riding of Yorkshire."

William Weege (American, 1935 - 2020) got his start in the mid 1960's with posters promoting counterculture & and opposition to the Vietnam War which "appeared on the streets of San Francisco and soon covered the walls of every young hipster's pad" (~Wisconsin Visual Art Achievement Awards ). A splendid poster with strong visual appeal which was probably never displayed. Apparently quite an event, the show featured Sir Felix Korim, S. Juhasz Shepard, The Haskells, Prof. Clarence Slyter, & Larry Weeks. Notably, the extravaganza presented "Slicing a Girl Into Sevenths ... out of Egypt for the First Time."
