13 real photo postcards in original illustrated envelope. Rare and beautiful group of tinted photographic postcards documenting 13 different fantastic floats for the 1912 pageant held July 20-28. They appear to be on railroad flatcars. The cards are tinted in different colors and have some silvering at the edges. The envelope has a corner missing. The backs are standard postcard design without any writing or stamps.The pageant organised by Santa Cruz promoter Fred Swanson was quite an event with boat races, boat parades, swimming contests, fireworks, and the Pacific Fleet including submarines.

White Co. and 2 by International Stereograph Co. which is copyrighted by C. L. Wasson. 9 have full descriptions on the back. The images show the aftermath of destruction with people wandering along the extensive ruins.
