It is tightly bound in it's original patterned boards, which are free from wear and marks, with just the smallest hint of bumping to the spine ends. The book is housed in an equally smart brown slipcase, with perhaps a slight hitn of rubbing, but this is barely visible and it is very smart indeed. In all, this is an excellent example of this first edition by the Folio Society, which was the first printing of Kelly's reminiscences since 1826, and would be an excellent addition to any Folio collection.
