The text promotes Curacao as having "the best natural harbor in the world," ideally placed for steamers en route to the Panama Canal to safely and quickly refuel with affordable coal. The object of the game is to find and bring a criminal to justice and punishment. The deluxe edition has the name of the game stamped in gilt on the front, the game board is of nicer quality, six "suspects" player cards are in color, the player's pieces are cast figures in six different colors, and the "Judge" is also a cast figure. The box is in nice condition with two corners in need of reinforcement, overall box, contents, game board, etc. are in solid very good condition. We have handled the "trade edition" of this game a few times in the past 35 years, but this is the first copy of the deluxe version we have ever handled or known was ever available to be sold.
