A little rubbing at the spine and corners, covers a trifle rubbed, but a clean, bright, unread copy. Ranked by the People's Almanac as one of the ten most prolific American authors of all time, Neubauer wrote under a number of pseudonyms, including William Arthur, Christine Bennett, Ralph Carter, Joan Garrison, Jan Hathaway, Rebecca Marsh, Norma Newcomb, and Gordon Semple in addition to Norman Bligh. Between 1944 and 1967 (the pace slowed down slightly thereafter) he produced one novel every five weeks and sold every single manuscript -- all 240 of them -- to a commercial publisher. 156 pp.
