Printed on quality paper. 7 inches tall. 7 inches of shelf space. In good condition. The hinges are all attached, some starting, all held firmly by underlying binding cords. Printed on quality paper. Some general rubs usage wear. An early name dated 1838, with an inscription from Dibdin 'Not to possess the writings of Addison is a misdemeanor'. These display beautifully. The Spectator was an important literary magazine from the 1700's, and an important addition to any antiquarian collection. According to Dibdin, not to possess the works of Addison is a misdemeanor.
