Originally built as a passenger/cargo ship for the Emergency Fleet Corporation and launched in 1921 as the Pine Tree State, later operated as the SS President Grant with the Dollar Steamship line, and later as the USS Harris (APA-2) transport during World War II. First edition of this uncommon dealership brochure for the Saab 95 seven-seater 2-door station wagon, and the sporty Saab 96 sedan. The Saab 96 replaced the Saab 93 in 1960, and by 1972 was fitted with the Ford V-4 engine. The 95 which debuted in 1959/1960 and was marketed in the U.S. with the Ford 1.7 liter V-4 engine, a rear-facing folding seat to make it a five seater, and was also available in commercial van version. The 95 actually received the 4-speed gearbox before the 96, and both proved popular for rally racers. Not in Worldcat.
