The jacket is faded to the spine and has one small tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel. Otherwise the wrapper is not clipped and it is quite crisp and without any other wear. The book itself is in excellent condition with no wear at all. It is square and firm. As nice a copy as you would find with this book. 2. The Day of the Scorpion (1968). A near fine copy. There is minor wear to the spine ends and corners. The blue cloth boards of the book are in very good shape. The binding is square and tight. On the front free end paper, R.A.F pilot Douglas Bader has signed his name without dedication.  The life story / biography of fighter pilot and Battle of Britain hero Douglas Bader, written by Paul Brickhill (author of Dam Busters and The Great Escape). The price on the spine is showing as 6'- net. The book in red boards has sunning to the spine ends and the corners are lightly rubbed. The first couple of pages have a patch of browning.
