Decorative paper covered boards with vellum tips. Plain green endpapers with binders ticket inside rear board. Top edge gilt. Housed in a beige cloth-covered, leather entry, slip-case, lined with the same decorative paper as used on the boards. Small binders ticket inside the slip case. A fine example of this deluxe edition. A magnificent, well illustrated and thorough catalogue, issued to coincide with the great Raj exhibition that ran in London from October 1990 to March 1991

The author's highly acclaimed masterpiece that won the 2007 National Book Award, Oprah Book Club Pick, and the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. A father and son walk alone through a dark, burned America, "each the other's world entire," and are sustained by love. Terse, poetic, magisterial, stunning. The First UK Edition seems to be much scarcer than its US counterpart. One for the Pension Fund!

At the spine ends there is creasing and very minor loss (partially affecting the CL of CLUB at the base of the spine). Priced accordingly
