[London]: Dean [and Son], 1936. 8vo oblong (9 5/8" x 12 ¾"); stiff color pictorial wrapper folded in the center without binding, printed both recto and verso; 2 color pictorial leaves folded in the center and printed one side only, laid-into the wrapper; color half-tone printing; light scuffing of edges and corners; near fine. An interesting and historical paper toy model of the Cunard-White Star Line ocean liner RMS Queen Elizabeth. Boston: Benj. R. Tucker, 1891. 1st. Original cloth. First American Edition. 8vo. 170 pp. Appendix. Publisher's brown cloth with gilt lettering. Minor wear to extremities; slight fading to spine; else a near fine copy. "...an essay written in 1891 by George Bernard Shaw, providing an extended analysis of the works of Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen and of Ibsen's critical reception in England. By extension, Shaw uses this "exposition of Ibsenism" to illustrate the imperfections of British society, notably employing to that end an imaginary "community of a thousand persons," divided into three categories: Philistines, Idealists, and the lone Realist." - wiki.
