Every GI is a POW was one of hundreds of underground anitwar newspapers that appeared near military bases, this one was at Fort Ord in California during 1971 and 1972; detailing conditions in the Fort Ord stockade, plus the 'outside' situations for veterans of the military (whether combatant or not). Articles include: Free Billy (PVT. Billy Smith was charged with fragging two officers while in Vietnam); and Rebellion At Travis (a flashpoint of Black Military resistance). Each 'pamphlet' reproducing a work of art on the 'cover'; the rest of the panels on this side are uniformly designed and offer a description of the art with a biography of the artists; a bibliography for the poet; and a biography of the poet, with the colophon at the bottom. The recto contains poetry only, from five to eight poems depending on the poet. Each pamphlet with a little bit of age-toning, but altogether a better than Very Good set; lacking the publishers manila envelope..
