Small 4to., red paper wrappers. A very good copy, clean and fresh; the wrappers are sunned and darkened to spine and extremities, showing wear and chipping to spine, with some loss to head, and a 1/2 closed tear.

Limited edition, 1/650 copies of six pamphlets, numbered 1-6 each designed by a different press, presenting a narrative of early exploration of the Pacific Area. Housed in a blue cloth-covered portfolio and blue cloth-covered slipcase, leather spine labels somewhat chipped. Pamphlets are fine.

Touch of soil to portfolio; scuffing and much wear to slipcase spine, with slight soil. Pamphlets are fine.

Bottom of spine and corners frayed, shelfworn; slight scuffing of covers. Inscribed on front flyleaf. Illustrated with black and white photo reproductions. Army mules, the aparejo, rigging and tying, pack train logistics, glossary, more. By the Army's Chief Packmaster.

Pediatric poetry, rendered by a translator of Callimachus.

A children's colour and drawing book with one third of the lessons completed inside the book. Narrow 4to., grey paper boards, backed in blue cloth with upper board illustrated in colour. Boards slightly bumped with dampstain to one cornor of lower board. Two little trolls have been added to the front free endpaper. A very good copy.

O'DONNELL, Edith. CHAPMAN, Gerard, et al. PAINTING PASTIMES FOR YOUNG ARTISTS. Illustrated by Edith O'Donnell. Chicago: Thompson & Thomas (1905). (unpag.) Oblong 4to., yellow cloth spine with color pictorial paper covered front board (rear cover plain paper). Boards edgeworn, corners gently bumped. A clean copy, uncolored by tiny crayon-wielding hands: each double-page set of illustrations features a line drawing in b/w on the verso page, with the same illustration printed in color on the facing page. There are also blank pages for children to draw on, with illustrations to copy from.

(Note: The 22 plates in the last section are numbered 1-24 but all are present - as called for - in the plate list.) Folio. [8],90 pp. Nineteenth-century binding of quarter red morocco with marbled boards, marbled endpapers, and a bookseller's ticket (B. T. Batsford, London); it is still attractive though lightly rubbed at edges and with the upper joint starting. Text leaves show scant light foxing, but the plates are clean.
