Hartford: Belknap & Bliss, 1870 Illustrateed with 200 engravings and a map of London. Personal observations of an American in London, 662 pp., map and three pp of ads. Leather is worn with both hinges cracked but holding.

Benzinger Brothers, 1925 Nice clean book in jacket [jacket has a 1" tear at the top front gutter, 1/4" at bottom, some nicks].

London: John Sharpe, 1817 Paradise Regained, pages not numbered, to which is added Samson Agonistes 64 pp., Comus 39pp., Arcades 7pp., Minor Poems and index to Minor Poems 187 pp. Bound in leather which is green on front and back with double, single, dental and floral rules. Spine and edges are brown with spine having four raised bands, blindstamping and gilt decorations, all edges gilt. Illustrated with false title page and illustrations dated 1816. An elaborately bound early 19th century book. Leather shows shelf wear, internally fine.

London: James, John and Paul Knapton, 1736 Bound in calf with 5 raised bands, with gilt borders. Both gutters are cracked and there is edgewear, college library bookplate in front with a deaccession stamp over it, pages are crisp and clean. text and covers in real nice state of preservation.

Stackpole, 1967 Book filled with 120 pages of photographic illustrations covering all aspects of the subject. An apparantly important book on the subject as this is ex-lib from Andrews Air Force base.

London: Tinsley Bros., 1882 Complete in two volumes, 267 & 263 pp. Bound in decorated green cloth with gilt titles. Corners bumped, light wear to the extremities, else very good.

New York : Harper & Brothers, 1867 Bound in tan cloth with red and black morocco spine labels in a manner that looks like a period law book, 492 pp. An unusually nice copy but with the following flaws: light finger soil; one sig comprising two leaves reattached with archival glue with the two leaves-the last page of the index and the fold out map reinforced on the edges with clear but now yellowed tape with the index on the fore edge and a small spot on bottom edge and the map on the bottom edge. The red spine label with a scuff mark and the black label with a small tear at the bottom edge. Also five specks of roller spray from paint on the front cover. Still a handsome, outstanding copy.

Easton Press, 1988 Bound in full black leather with gilt decorations, aeg. Bookplate attached, Notes from History laid in. A bright shiny copy.

New York : P. F. Collier & Son, 1903 Bound in quarter cloth over paper, presumed first edition with 1903 in Roman numerals on the title page. This copy with a color frontis and color two page center fold, with numerous black and white illustrations, pages not numbered. The cloth is spotted, frontis with a 1/2" closed tear to the bottom margin, quite occasional finger soil, covers worn at the tips, front hinge broken. Still a large book with clean bright illustrations.

Ann Arbor: The William L. Clements Library, 1925 Book has edgewear, glassine dust jacket is chipped and torn, contents very good. This is one of 505 copies printed by Bruce Rogers.

Indianapolis: A W Bowen, 1914 "With Biographical Sketches of Representative Citizens and Genealogical Records of Many of the Old Families" Large volume with leather over marbled boards, 1603 pp., aeg. illustrations of prominent persons. Attractive volume with leather showing a classic look, spine titles still quite bright. Edge wear, front hinge broken, pages quite bright and clean, gilt edges nice.

Cambridge University Press, 1942 Bound in dark blue cloth with paper label on front cover in pale blue jacket with black borders and title, 63 pp. This copy with an extra label matching the front cover label tipped onto rear endpaper. Jacket is price clipped, else very good in very good jacket.

Reilly & Lee, 1936 Bound in brick red cloth with color plate on front cover, no internal color plates, ads listing through Speedy in Oz, neat ink inscription on the half title dated 1936. Jacket with modest chips at the head of spine, some edge wear and a 2" neatly closed tear on the front. Both spine and jacket with the "boldface" publisher's imprint.

Charles Scribner's Sons, 1951 Stated first edition. Clean bright tight copy that is slightly cocked, jacket missing a small chip on back, some nicks and a 1" closed tear at the bottom front spine fold.

1938 Nice condition in an over 80 year old phone book. It is bound in stiff stapled paper covers that are covered in local ads with many more ads inside.

Paris Twelve Books bound in fourteen parts, all published in Paris, ex-seminary lib, very good or better, mixed states. Tomus 1,2,3 prior,3 altera,4 prior, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 prior, 10 altera, 11, 12. Vols. 1 and 12 published in 1877; 2, 3 alt in 1902; 3 prior and 6 1887; 8 1888; 5,9,10 prior, 10 alt, 11 in 1865; 7 in 1902; 4 in 1861. Vol. 6 has a burn spot the size of a cigarette tip in upper margin first six leaves, vol. 9 has a 1" tear bottom margin; vol. 12 has some foxing, first few pages.

Bedford, Clark & Co., 1882 Decorative Cloth. Very Good. First Edition. Unusually bright copy showing touch of wear at tips.

Action Play Books, 1944 Stated first edition, this is a circus story about a small boy, a clown, an elephant and a monkey. Jacket which is chipped and has a large closed tear is now protected in mylar. Book has been carefully read and has no marks, tears, soil, etc.

London: A & C Black, 1930 Bound in blue cloth with black decorations, 12 plates, four in color, and one map. Cloth shows sun fading on spine and top edge of front cover, book plate. There is a piece of clear tape on the top edge of spine [no damage, I believe the oringinal owner put this on to protect the spine fron tearing]. The margin of one plate has a spot of finger soil. Otherwise a near fine copy.

Whitman, 1947 Book shows wear at the extermities and shelf wear, pages evenly tanned, internally very good.
