Authors include Mary Tourtel (an early Rupert the Bear story), A H Watson, Elizabeth Bowen, Walter de la Mare and many others. Illustrators include Bip Pares, A H Watson, and others including most importantly two wonderful two page spreads from Disney, the first entitled "Mickey Mouse and His Retinue Arriving at the Party" and the second " The End of the Party : Mickey Mouse Takes a Photograph." The book is in lovely bright unworn condition. The now protected jacket has losses at he head of the spine and the lower front corner.

All in all a very bright, solid and attractive copy. The Canadian edition was printed in Great Britain and is identical to the British first except for the title page. Stewart 250.
