Black and white single sheet advertises a poster and videotape of Tasha Tudor's last public speaking appearance at the Conner Prairie Museum in Noblesville, IN, opening in August, 1991. This appearance was part of the "Once in a Lifetime Exhibit of Tasha Tudor's Most Outstanding Antique Dresses, paingins, her Doll Collections and Other Enchantments." May Include original mailing envelope bordered in magenta with illustration of a girl releasing hearts and doves. Postmarked June 7, 1991.

The book is in Good + condition with bumpted corners and age soiling to be expected in a 75 year old volume of this size. A number 3 has been written on the front cover in marker - a room number? This is a teacher's book for reading to the whole class, with folding wings that unsnap so book can be fully open for stand-up display. Contains 6 stories. Very Good Plus, with light soiling. Size: Double Elephant.

The early edition with illustrations presaging the borders that Tasha Tudor introduced to many of her watercolors. Le Mair's delicate watercolor reflect the earlier work of and are typical of the early 20th century. One poem set to music on each two-page spread. One of Le Mair's watercolors accompanies each poem, most in "modern" settings. There is light soiling to cover and endpapers. Some discoloration to endpapers. A closed 3/4" tear to the front free endpaper. A half-inch piece has been torn from the last page.
