London: Heinemann, 1925 Book full of Beerbohm's illustrations. Front cover has a bubble, jacket has a dampstain at the spine not affecting cover, and some chips at the extremities.

Printed for Jacob Tonson at the Judges Head in Chancery Lane and Awnsham Churchil, at the Black Swan in pater Noster Row, 1693 The sixth edition, corrected and augmented in contemporary mottled calf, blind stamped covers and four raised bands. Bookplate of John Thomas Brooks, Esq. There is evidence of a later bookplate that was removed, a previous owner's signature on a blank page, and a piece of the last page has a large chip in the margin-no where near the text. Front board is detached but present. A nice clean copy.

Philadelphia: Edward Earle, 1810 Outstanding copy of the First American Edition bound in mottled calf with red morocco spine label and double gilt spine bands, all gilt quite bright. Leather is scuffed at the extremities, faded name on tp, lightly tanned pages, a very good or better copy. xlvii, 411 pp.

Philadelphia: James A, Bill, 1850 Stated First American Edition from the Fourth and Greatly Improved London Edition. All twenty plates are present many with overlays, one page of ads in the back. Originally the property of a Dr. Sam A. Jones of Englewood, N.J.. Pages are all nice and clean with some of the plates darkening, one plate of text with a little foxing. Backstrip is missing and front board is detached, text is tight. A good clean copy that needs some relatively minor repairs.

William Morrow, 1936 Bound in faded blue cloth, 295 pp plus eight pages of track charts, illustrated with photos. As mentioned covers are faded, faint damp stain on the back cover, damp stain at top margin of the front and rear pages. A good solid copy.

London: Edward and charled Dilly, 1775 Complete text block sans covers, [i]-viii, [9]-442. First few leaves with a faint damp stain, else clean and bright. A great candidate for rebinding.

Paris: Charpentier, Libraire-Editeur, 1865 Bound in 3/4 red morocco over marbled boards, five raised bands with elaborate gilt panels, two spine labels, top edge gilt, this number 572 of a limited edition [Exlempaire No 572]..The first and last two volumes are dated 1866 with the rest dated 1865. Leather rubbed in spots. Quite occasional foxing, some bumped corners, bump at the top edge of text block volume 1. Contents overall fine, books overall very good. tres bien etat.

Paris: Chez Lefevre, 1835 Bound in dark blue leather with gilt decorations over bright blue cloth, 727 pp. tres bon etat.

Paris: Alphonse Lemerre Bound in full black leather with brown spines, 5 raised bands, gilt spine titles, 362, 287, aeg. Spines scuffed, otherwise a fine unread set. Belle etat.

St. Louis: Official Photographic Company, 1904 Souvenir of the St Louis World's Fair with 20 photos mounted on stiff paper, no text other than captions on the photos. covers are olive colored ,with circular photographic insert and bound with gold string.

Salem: State of Oregon, 1906 Edgewear with the book the slightest bit cocked, bright very good copy.

Plymouth, Indiana, 1962 Bound in yellow cloth, this 182 page book is full of information on the businesses, residents and their families of these Indiana cities. Most entries include address, phone number, place of employment and children's names.

Dayton, Ohio, 1876 [i]-[viii], 1-358, bound in brown cloth with gilt titles. Cloth faded, titles faded but still legible, wear at extremities, bookplate. Original owner, a doctor, made neat corrections in the text following the errata.

Columbus, OH: Fred J Herr, 1900 Complete 10 volumes published between 1900-1902, bound in green cloth with bright gilt spine titles. Each volume with a damp stain to the fore edge of the covers, not visible when shelved. The last several pages of volume 1 also with a water stain. [No musty smell]. Contents good or better. Much information on early Ohio history, mound builders, ethnology, etc.

Columbus, OH, 1854 Extra illustrated with five extra full page views. Bound in blind stamped dark blue cloth with bright gilt titles, engraved frontis, extra illustrated title page and 28 other plates [index calls for 28 total plates]. Beyond this there are five plates bound in that are not called for:p 83, Cleveland Station; p84,West Branch, Rocky River, Near Olmstead Station; p85, East branch, Rocky River, Berea Station; p97 Elk Creek; p 100, Grand River Near Painsville Station. Page 1 [misnumbered as 2]-135. Fold out frontis, "View of Station Buildings and Lake Erie at Cleveland", has a large tear but is complete. Spine has chips at extremities and the tips are worn. Book is clean, tight and bright, with foxing throughout. [Howes O 52]

Columbus, OH: self, 1981 Bound in red cloth with black spine titles, 400 pp. There is a touch of rubbing at the tips, else near fine.

London: Thomas Nelson, 1938 This book from The Wide World Story books, No. 3, stated first edition, "First Published in This Series, June, 1938". Book has a few light fox spots on the fore edge of the text block [does not show when opened], minor rubbing at extremities and ink inscription on ffep. Jacket with a water spot at the top of spine and top of front fold [not affecting the cover], soiled and chips at spine extremities. Back of jacket lists this title and two others as "Now Ready" and "Others to Follow".

Jerusalem: Art Publishing House <Migdal>, 1927 Book is illustrated with mounted photo-etchings by Benor -Kalter. This copy with 21 of 22 photos present, missing Mosque of Zorea photo. Photo captions in French and English, no other text. Pages deckle edged. Book is ex-lib with number on spine, pocket in front and accession number on verso of titile page. Spine is darkened.

Bobbs-merrill, 1929 Jacket has three small chips two nicks, now protected in mylar.

Ben Burke Inc., 1941 Bound in red pebbled leatherette, 160 pp. Bright copy of the fifth edition with miniscule touches of rubbing on edges. Sharp copy with nice bright illustrarions. Original $2.00 price on front cover.
