Exterior still has some shine to the buckram but there is some spotting present, mainly on the back. Chipping is also present at top of spine as well as edges and corners, which also shows some bumping. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. The first two end pages contains the signature of the original owner. There are no bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose, and no other handwriting found. The text pages do show some foxing spots and some light toning, but are otherwise in very good condition.

Internal binding has some minor issues, mainly a few holes at the bottom 1 inch of the front board. This continues in to the half title page and was likely caused by insects. Pages are tone due to age with some very minor spotting to the end pages and pastedowns. No signatures or bookplates present, only handwriting found in book is on the front end page where there is faint evidence of an old price once penciled in the corner. Also included with the book is the original advertising flyer and order form. This will be included with the book.

The only handwriting found in the book is on the front end page which reads: "March 17, 1941. Medical Cadet Corp., Red Cross Unit. E.B. Russell". No other handwriting found in the book, no underlining, no library markings. In addition to the 244 pages there is also 16 black-and-white plates in the rear.

The internal binding is good the binding is a bit too tight in the rear quarter of the book. This may be caused by the binding step or book may have been repaired at some point. Pages are quite toned due to type of paper used. No signatures or bookplates, no handwriting, no underlining, no library markings. The title page has a stamp at the bottom in English which reads "Printed in USSR". A very uncommon book to find in the 1960 printing. The book contains numerous black-and-white and color illustrations.

The spine has a dark spot near the top and the rear board shows quite a bit of spotting with lifting to the cloth near the hinge area, the rear board shows faint splash marks when you hold it at an angle to the light. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No hinge issues, no signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no underlining found. The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is in the upper outside corner of the half title page where you could just make out where a price was once penciled and then later erased. The only reason for the lower condition grade is because the condition of the exterior cloth.

Internal binding is in better shape, no hinge cracks at boards and only issue is some pulling at the frontispiece. Front pastedown contains the last name of the original owner which is written near the top edge, no other handwriting found, no bookplates, no library markings. Pages are toned due to age and foxing is present with some pages being pretty heavy. These are the pages where the two different types of paper meet which caused the reaction and includes the title page in the rear end page.
