A fine late 19th century miniature Nuku mahogany billiards table with beize covered slate (rubbed in places), brass mounted pockets, two spring action cues, score board, wooden triangle, various balls, original wooden stand, and the original rules book by J. P. Mannock, all contained in its original pine carrying case with rubbed labels. N.B.: A Trade Mark for the name Nuku was applied for, no. 1911-0455 by Hutchinson and Perl Ltd., who may have been the original manufacturers.

VG. ** Family history records show that: When Rev James Smith was born in 1838 in Histon, Cambridgeshire, his father, David, was 20 and his mother, Joannah, was 27. He married Emily Marsh on 20 July 1865 in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire. They had eight children in 20 years. He died on 17 February 1897 at the age of 59, at Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
