Binder. 1944 Edition, includes supplementary fiction guides, "what the news editor expects of his men", lecture by Walter May, "Publicity" lecture by Elmore Leffingwell, and others lectures. This was a newspaperman's training course, printed in nine sections and supplements, contined in a large leatherette post binder. Several pages noted with pencil marks, general age discoloration throughout, but otherwise clean copy for age. Interesting and still useful (though slightly sexist! ) material. ; 16.05 x 8.75 x 2.50 inches .

Does have previous owner name stamped on first free end paper, no other marks noted in text. DJ shows more wear, one chip to front, edgewear and tears, and small stains. Additional text copy laid in, unopened. Large book may require extra postage. Landscapes and photography (mostly black & white) of current Slovenia. One small pin hole in the spine. Binding is cracking at the hinges, but no pages appear to be missing or loose. Back cover has some water damage and the red dye from the cloth has bled onto the bottom edge of page 475 to the back end page, but this does not affect the text. Previous owner attached an ex-libris sticker to the upper left corner on the inside of the front cover. Book is protected in a mylar bag. ; 9 X 6.25 x 1.75 inches .
