It is written from the point of view of the white race, as a terrible warning against the dangers of negro domination." Arthur Henry , a journalist & playwright, was an associate & friend of Theodore Dreiser. He served as mentor & assisted in the editing of Dreiser's first novel, Sister Carrie.
