Quite an oddity, from the days when Pollack, now a reformed literary bad boy, produced this over the top anthology, and then sort of apologized for buying into his own hype. Highly inventive, though. First printing, fine in a very nearly fine jacket (small nick lower rear) in protective mylar. Partially signed by the author--inscription reads "My Friend:" and then "Ne". Handwriting is a confirmed match to Pollack.

First edition, fine in a very nearly fine jacket (slight shelf rubbing, a faint fingernail mark or two). Unmarked, appears unread.

New Yorker album with nice color reproductions of 40 covers from 1950-1955, along with hundreds of cartoons. Quite good condition, however plastic protective covering was attached to book with acidic tape, causing discoloration to pastedowns and facing endpapers. A little toing to jacket, and a bit of wear to jacket extremeties, still quite nice. Artists represented include Peter Arno, William Steig, James Thurber, Charles Addams, Ludwig Bemelmans, and many others.
