Very scarce in the cloth binding, the present offering is bright and fine.

An early appearance of Richard Wilbur with six poems, as well as contributions by Paul Bowles, Rene Char, Alex Comfort, Robert Duncan, Richard Eberhart, Howard Nemerov, F. T. A signed copy of the author's first book, inscribed: "For --, / Best Wishes, / Al Zolynas / 1/83" on the FEP in black ink. Issued as Volume 97 in the Wesleyan Poetry Program. "This first book by Al Zolynas takes its central metaphor from the title poem . . . a subject that for the poet represents the final mystery" (from the jacket notes.) Only gentle wear to the jacket, else bright and fine. Uncommon in the cloth binding.

Introduction by Dana Gioia, and jacket reviews by Carolyn Kizer and Frederick Morgan. "Compliments of the Author and Story Line Press" slip laid in. A fine copy, with light shelf rubs to jacket.

Norfolk CT: New Directions, 1943. 1st edition, original printed purple paperwraps (as issued). Specially inscribed and signed by Dylan Thomas on the half title page. The inscription reads: "for Elmer Borklund / from / Dylan Thomas. / Chicago 1950," in black fountain pen ink. Elmer Borklund was a Chicago based academic, literary critic, and author. Published by James Laughlin in The Poets of the Year series. Only minimal wear to this otherwise fine copy. Very scarce signed.

Athens GA: U of Georgia Press, 1989. 1st edition, full black cloth, with illustrated dust jacket. A handsomely designed book by Betty McDaniel, and edited by Bin Ramke as part of The Contemporary Poetry Series at the University of Georgia Press. The tasteful jacket illustration is by Tim Blalock. Bright, fine, 'as new' condition.

The text includes four articles about Frost. A single fold for mailing, and browning rubs to rear cover, else near fine. An unusual piece of Frost ephemera.

This volume includes Merrill's long poems, "The Thousand and Second Night" and "From the Cupola," along with sixteen other poems. Light sunning to spine, else fine.
