Fairly detailed map offering not graphic scale, but is about four miles to the inch. (Streeter, 3904; Graff, 4652). Darkened along folds and showing scattered stains and brown spots. There are a few small fold tears, but paper is generally intact. Cloth binder is worn, particularly over spine, but gilt stamped lettering remains fairly good. The three plates called for in this part are present, plus an addition of 132 more plates including three leaves of text, and the hand colored map of Cambridgeshire "engraved for Moul's English Counties by W. Schmollinger." Nine other plates are colored, including six from Rudolph Ackermanns' 1815 "History of the University of Cambridge." Raised spine bands, each volume with two leather spine labels. All edges are marbled. Private library book plate on front paste downs. Ink stamp of a masonic lodge is seen on the upper edge of the text blocks. Leather is rubbed and a bit worn. Spine labels with small cracks, though lettering remains good. Both volume remain tight, and contents are crisp and clean.
