Bologna: Ditta Nicola Zanichelli, 1894. Book has been recently resewn and rebound, so exterior is Fine with marbled-paper-covered boards, cloth spine, and paper spine label. Textblock, however, is only Fair. Gatherings of book had been glued and taped together, and as book continued to fall apart, text was lost in gutters of several pages as glue and tape pulled off lettering. There has been a minor lost of text in gutters of pp. 18-19 (four words affected); slightly more significant loss on pp. 2-3, pp. 174-175, pp. 178-179, and pp. 256-257 (about one-eighth to one-quarter inch of text affected on inner margins); and worst loss on pp. 16-17 (2" X 0.75" area of text obliterated on each page). In addition, book has former owner's name and acquisition date inked on title page, ink underlining and marginalia on about 10 pages, and pencil underlining and marginalia on about 110 pages.
