The hinges are intact. There is a paper bookplate. Amor Vincit Omnia means Love Conquers All Things. Damp staining and very foxed. No bad smells. Just smells like an old book. States Fourth Edition 1817. This is the English edition printed by A. Strahan Printers - Street London. Book is complete with multiple end papers.

My antique mall booth number and price written in pencil for $12.00 on ffep. Seven pages of advertisements for books published by Grosset & Dunlap in the back. Sun faded spine which is cocked. Second edition, June 3, 1911. A stain on the front and back. Top edge of spine very worn or nibbled on. Wear to bottom edge and front corners. Back hinge is cracked. States Made in the United States of America.

Arnoldo Mondadori Edition, Contemporary Classic Italian, November 1979. Printed in Italy, text in Italian. Sun fading to spine with small tears at the top. Some top edgewear on volume 1 and a couple of soil spots. Volume 1 has creased bottom page tips at the back index section, photographed. Volume 2 has two top page corners creased near the front. Royal blue boards with blue ribbon book marks and top edges dyed blue. Remainder marks (black marker lines) on the bottom edge of both books. Old price sticker inside slipcase. Some soiling to all around paper design. Very Good condition overall.

Dust Jacket is worn at corners and edges with tears. Top edge crinkled, bottom rubbed, movement marks. Coretta Scott King Award Sticker says Peace, Non-Violent, Brotherhood with a wonderful logo by Lev Mills.

Signature on front end page with date autographed and gift inscription above it. Dust jacket is very worn along top and bottom edges with small tears.

First Printing Sept. 1981 Softcover wrapper has a wear with with creases and a tear to the top layer of paper backside Inside of book in Near Fine condition. This is a rare book.

Gold is worn on the 8 1/2" X 5 3/4" HC. Corners and edges of spine are rubbed and bend under. Has several stains plus a 1" paint stain at foredge back cover. Illus. of U.S. Grant has a 1" closed tear. Hinge is cracked back side with the paper torn and starting to tear at front.

Signed by Brother Andrew (name only) on front end page. Book looks new but has several small dents on the bottom of the actual book - not the dust jacket. The front end page corner is clipped of the previous owner's name.

The story is about how little Pedro, who is small for his size, deals with bullying and becomes a hero. Recommended for ages 6 - 9. This is a hard to find book with dust jacket. The bottom flaps look clipped.

Inscribed, "Encouragement Does Wonders! Liz Herron" on front end page. Book looks new with a tiny dent by the back corner spine & scratch on back wrapper. The pages have yellowed somewhat.
