The volume is lightly bumped on the spine ends and top corners, and the text leaves are gently toned. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is lightly edge rubbed with corner nicks, and the spine is sunned with the pink color having turned a mild yellow.

The volumes have light to moderate edge wear, volume I brown spine label has partial fading and there is a smudge to the top of the spine. The page edges on both volumes are spotted (foxed). Vol. I has lightly creased top corners and vol. II is over opened at the first title page. Still a very good set. Text in Spanish.

Sopexa, 1996. First Edition. Softcover. Near Fine. Stiff wraps quarter bound in red cloth, housed in slipcse. Sewn in red nylon book marker with attached advertising. The front cover has a light waviness along the top edge and both panels have faint impressions where they overlap the text block. Slipcase is fine. Text is in French.

Leather spines with blind stamped decorations and gilt stamped lettering; embossed green percaline panels stamped with yellow lettering. Vol. I: 316 pp, 589 reproduced photographs, 26 colored plates, 6 maps in color, and 8 maps in black and white. Vol. II: 324 pp, 692 reproduced photographs, 25 plates some of which are in color, 5 maps in color, and 9 maps in black and white. Folio. Text is in FRENCH. The volumes are rubbed, bumped on the corners exposing the boards, have rubbed and abraded spine ends and joints, and the front hinge in vol. II is cracked. These are oversized books, together weighing about 13 lbs. Priority and international mailings will require additional postage.

The price clipped dust jacket, sleeved in protective cover, is lightly edge worn, has two light creases on the front panel, a gently sunned spine, and some sporadic light soiling throughout.

The volume has wrinkling at the top and fore-edge of pages 105-122. The mylar sleeved dust jacket (unpriced) has a 1" closed tear at the base of the front spine fold.

Affixed to the front endpaper is a clipped slip of paper with the typed words, "Faithfully yours, Archibald MacLeish, The Librarian of Congress" and SIGNED by Archibald MacLeish above his typed name. The volume is bumped on the spine ends, has a bookplate of bibliophile Melba Berry Bennett on the front pastedown, and there is a rippling effect to the first 7 leaves caused by the adhesive used to paste the MacLeish signature to the front endpaper. The unclipped dust jacket, sleeved in mylar, is chipped on the spine ends and corners (to include a sizable 1/2" long by 3/4" deep at the base of the rear panel near the fold), and a 1/2" closed tear with crease on the top of the rear panel. There is also some staining along the rear fold.

Canaveral Press, 1963. First Edition. Near Fine/Near Fine. Signed. Although this press did publish some original Edgar Rice Burroughs first editions, this is a reprint of the 1944 publication. First printing by this press, it is accompanied with a check from the account of Edgar Rice Burroughs, attached to a light cardboard backing, SIGNED by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The volume is lightly bumped on the spine ends and bottom front corner, and the rear pastedown has a triangular area (1"x 3") where the binding glue was not applied. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, has light edge wear and a bit of toning to the spine.

The volume is bumped on the spine ends, has a very small dot (remainder?) on the bottom page edges, and there is a light indentation on the fore-edges of the last 50 or so leaves, which has resulted in some associated wrinkling on the last 25 or so leaves. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is lightly wrinkled on the spine crown.
