"The novel about Japanese women which the Japanese government does not want it's women to read".

The play was first presented at the Lyceum Theatre in NY on April 1, 1954. The cast included Cloris Leachman, Jackie Cooper, Patchwork Peggy (the dog), and others. Illus with B&W photos from that performance. Copyright page states 'First Edition'.
