Chinese nationalist leader (1887-1975) and politician, led the Republic of China for almost 50 years (1928-1975), first in mainland China (until 1949), later on the island of Taiwan.Fantastic, larger size mat with an original photo of him, signed by him, mounted on a larger black mat to a total size of 10 x 13.1 inches. The actual photograph is 5.7 x 6.9 inches, blind-stamped (metal stamp with no ink) on the front by photographer C. Mea, with text in both Chinese and Western characters.
Background rust quite evenly distributed, in very good condition.
