Flipping through the work I find no writing or markings at all. The page tops are gilt and it is bright and shiny. There is a yellow ribbon marker that is in fine condition. Very important since there is no writings in this work it repeats in 2030 and could be used by someone in that year. The dust jacket has a chip out of the base of the spine, a dime would more than cover it. Also there is a tear at the upper right hand corner of the front cover of the dust jacket approximately an inch. All in all, a quite presentable copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!

Lambers, then a Professor of Economics at the Netherlands School of Economics. Before his untimely death on a plane flight, Dr. Arie Beenhakker was a Professor of Economics at the University of South Florida in Tampa. 167 pages. First published in 1962 by the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. This is the first edition, first printing of the 1993 reprint of the work by the University Press of Kansas. Contents consist of a list of illustrations, preface to the reprint edition, preface to original edition, list of Railroad companies, an introduction, ten chapters, notes, a bibliography and an index. 260 pages. Interior of book is clean, fresh, tight and bright. The spine of the book is not creased, however, the spine is faded, probably from sitting on a bookshelf where it got a daily dose of sunlight. If not for this fading on the spine the book would grade as new. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment; carefully packed!
