All pages incl covers browning from outside to in. This book and its predecessor were most probably banned in S Africa pre 1994. I guess for this reason, both books are rare in S A.

Un-dated but - Author's dated inscription signed in the Luangwa Valley. Illustrated eps and b&w text illustrations; includes 16 pages colour and monochrome photographs. A rare book and most fascinating. Author's Signed Inscription. Covered in plastic.

Lower corners and tail of spine have been restored. Front top corner has been wetted , nowhere extending into the text but thru' all pages. 32pp col photog plates , some with more than one image, some double page, all stunning. Signed by author of text.

Gilt Title on spine is rather dull; original cloth repaired, recoloured and replaced on top of repaired boards with new eps. The Jeppes were a prominent S African family of German extraction, having a Street, Schools, a Suburb, & a Sports Club in Johannesburg named after them. INCLUDES a short family history. M.S
