Bangor, Maine: Self-published, 1895 Fair+/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Slim volume (127 pages) by Maine author. Details of crockery-making and about the founding in 1893 of the only society in England manufacturing crockery under the Industrial Acts of 1876. With Appendix. Upper front cover corner cloth worn and board underneath broken away; other corners lightly-to-moderately worn. Light staining to cover cloth, as well as quarter-size brown stain and drip mark, partially cleaned away. Same brown substance also spots outer page margins of pp. 16-36, with 1/2" diameter spot to two pages and diminishing at other pages. Otherwise clean and tight.

Bayley (1770-1857) was the first long-term parish pastor of Newcastle, Maine. He was involved with the founding of Bangor Theological Seminary, Lincoln Academy, and other theological institutions. Very light cover wear. Clean and tight.

Istanbul, 1997 Printed by Yeni ALAS Matbaacilik. Illustrated with numerous color photographs and drawings depicting nomads and nomadic life in Anatolia and weaving and dying techniques and methods, and with many reproductions of Turkish rugs/weavings/kilims accompanied by explanations of the symbols woven into them. Text in English and easily understood, but with many grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. Scarce. With light diagonal crease at lower front cover and front/center stress point. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn.

Closed tear along inside edge of front tissue guard. Few closed tears to margins of one text plate. Intermittent light-to-dark-brown smudges and stains to some text margins. Diagonal creases to top corners of some text pages. Otherwise clean and intact.
