No additional printings. With fourteen illustrations on glossy paper by C. M. Relyea, all of which, rather oddly, have a slight marginal tidemark. The book itself exhibits no water damage of any kind, leading one to wonder if this slight damage occurred prior to the binding process. The cloth has only a touch of wear at the extremities, with no frays or splits. Former owner's name and date to the front free endpaper, otherwise unmarked. A clean, tight copy.

The front free endpaper has a vertical crease. The upper corners of the book are bumped, the front more so than the rear. Hinges solid; binding square. The dust wrapper has corresponding small creases at the bumps, but otherwise show only a hint of wear, with no rips, chips or clips. A clean, tight copy, with the jacket now in mylar. Contains the dramas "Jeppe paa Bierget", " Den politiske Kandestober", and "Erasmus Montanus". The boards show a touch of edgewear; the leather is lightly rubbed and has a tiny split at the head of the front gutter. Hinges solid, binding square. Anderson to the State Historical Society of Wisconsin, partially obscured by the pen notation (by Herman Gimmestad, though this book does not carry his bookplate), stating the book was purchased at a sale November 21, 1944. No other marks or writing. The cloth shows only a hint of edgewear with a slightly darkened spine; the front cover illustration remains bright and sharp. Hinges solid; binding square.
