Gilt decoration and raised bands to spine with full marbled edges. Minor rubbing and wear to hinges, corners, and edges of boards. Leather is very good with slight bumping, some rubbing along spine, and small chip to rear upper corner. Scratch on first cover. Red leather spine label with title and author. Inner dentelles and marbled red, green, and gold endpapers. Interior pages are also in very good condition. Owner bookplate affixed to rear free endpaper. It also includes original poetry by the printer, some of which was created from words excerpted from Jenson's will and translated into English. Bound in orange handmade Cave paper with "I, Nicholas Jenson alien & printer of books" printed in red and silver inks across the rear, spine, and front panels. A small spot of foxing to a few pages, but clean and bright overall. Illustrated with hand drawn Greek letters by Deirdre Hassed and printed from magnesium blocks.
