Tall 8vo., original red Hermitage calf blocked in blind on upper cover with the figure of Euphrosyne by Hughes-Stanton, fore and lower edges uncut. Some rubbing to the edges of the boards and spine, very slight bowing to the upper board, otherwise an unusually bright copy.||Once again, Hughes-Stanton provides stunning images for the Press and the binding is a very successful one, using one of his images in blind on the upper cover.The weakness of the Welsh calf has caused considerable wear and fading to most copies of this book but this copy seems to have stood up pretty well.|
